hooray! you are three months old today! life is good & you are a cutie. you are so much more alert this month & try so hard move around already! please, don’t crawl early because then you get into a whole lot of trouble & make mommys life just a little bit harder…
this month you are smiling all the time. you are such a happy boy. you rolled over & are getting to be quite the expert on holding your head up. & you are starting to notice big brother a lot more these days which he loves.
i am loving watching you grow!
i have always loved fourth of july there is something so wonderful about friends & family getting together & celebrating our country & our freedom.
we had such a fun day celebrating with friends & family at our house. good friends+good food=good times!
I have been experimenting for some time now with smoothies & more often than not it ends up being whatever is left over in my fridge & usually a spinach/kale base, but i wanted something sweet today & I have been trying to stay away from sugar besides real sugar found in fruit. I decided to satisfy that sweet tooth I would make this smoothie & it just hit the spot!
4-5 large strawberries
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 c ice
1/2 c coconut or almond milk
Blend together & top with some cocoa powder & a strawberry & enjoy your guilt-free treat hmmm!
somehow it doesn’t even seem possible that you could be two months old already? you are the sweetest little boy & you look more & more like your daddy every single day! (this makes me so happy because your daddy is one good looking guy)
this month you began smiling & cooing at us & you started to give me more sleep! (yay for 6 hour stretches!)
you just have the sweetest temperament & you still love being close to me at all times, but really i don’t mind so much. i realize this time around how fast time really does go by. your big brother is going to be three soon & i feel like he was just your age not that long ago. i hope i can cherish all the moments i have with you sweetie you really are such a little blessing!
this year I celebrated my third Mother’s Day & I think it was the best one yet. I think this year I realized how blessed I am to be called “mommy” to such beautiful & healthy boys. the gift of motherhood is so incredibly special to me- I really try not to take it for granted. it has changed me in so many ways & I am thankful on this day for my boys & also for my own mother-she is the most giving & loving person I know.
I had the most relaxing day & even got to take a three hour nap! yes just what this momma to a newborn ordered!
I hope each of you mom out there had a beautiful Mother’s Day where you felt loved & appreciated!
